Sonofile is a Web magazine by Bradley Bambarger, devised in league with the music/graphic collective sixtyonesixtyeight. The content consists of his writing on music -- new and archival essays, profiles, conversations and criticism. The archival material is revised from past publications, often with postscripts. After years as a senior writer, columnist and then executive editor for Billboard magazine, Bradley was creative director/executive editor for Andante, a classical record label/publisher and Web magazine. Currently, he is a music critic for the Newark Star-Ledger, as well as a contributor to Stereophile.

In addition to extended stints freelancing for Gramophone and Time Out New York magazines, Bradley's work has been published in Musical America, NewMusicBox, Chamber Music, Stagebill, Revolver, Guitar World, Rolling Stone, Blender, College Music Journal, Musician, Pulse, EQ, Pro Sound News and in newspapers from New York and Chicago to Atlanta and Las Vegas. He has also written liner notes for recordings on the Columbia/Legacy, Harmonia Mundi, Sony Classical, Angel/EMI, Deutsche Grammophon, RCA Victor and Messenger labels. He lives in New York City.
